Born to a family of pygmies in the equatorial rainforests near Urinous Falls, a tousled and unruly Mike Burawski began performing songs on the guitar at the tender age of 8 during local tribal gatherings to help supplement his family’s scant income from goat herding.
Washing ashore at Big Stone Beach, DE in October 1978 after spending a harrowing 6 weeks lost at sea in a dinghy, the guitarist wandered the U.S. earning money by whittling nude caricatures of GOP leaders from driftwood and touring with a Led Zeppelin tribute band until 1999 when by chance the guitarist wound up in California after the Led Foot tour ran out of money. Spotting an ad in the recycler for a guitarist, Mike joined Mojo Filter and the rest is history.
